The board of Dnister wishes to advise it’s members and the
greater Ukrainian community that due to the withdrawal of
Karpaty Credit Union from any further merger discussions;
the opportunity of creating one Ukrainian Credit Cooperative
from these two entities has been missed.
Dnister, whilst
disappointed at this outcome, still strongly believes in the
idea of one Ukrainian Credit Cooperative servicing and
supporting our Ukrainian community in Australia. Based on
this conviction, the Dnister board is pleased to confirm
that in accordance with its strategic plan and its desire to
involve the Ukrainian community in Australia we will
endeavor to pursue the commitments that we set out and as
highlighted by our mission statement below.
