Dnister would like to congratulate Mr Myroslaw Boluch, recipient of the Medal of the Order of Australia for “service to the Ukrainian community, particularly through the financial services sector and to the recording of the history of Ukrainian settlement in Australia”.

Mr Boluch has played an integral part of Dnister’s success. During his Chairmanship (1976 – 1993) Mr Boluch’s greatest ambition was to ensure that the company invested in assets to develop a solid foundation for the credit co-operative’s future development and longevity.

With nearly 20 years of service to the organisation, Mr Boluch demonstrated a determination and passion to not only help the members of the credit co-operative secure their financial future, but also to assist the Ukrainian community in Australia to ensure that it remains strong and active.

His vision, leadership and dedication have established the credit co-operative as one that will continue to support its members and community long into the future.

As we celebrate 50 years of Dnister in 2009, we sincerely thank Mr Boluch’s for his contributions to Dnister Ukrainian Credit Co-operative.
