Internet banking notification - Hoax emails

Recently there have been a number of unauthorised attempts via bogus email to target Financial Institutions including NetTeller sites. These emails attempt to trick you into providing personal information such as member number, internet banking password, card details or telephone banking password.

There are also other emails from senders unknown to you. These emails may contain links and or attachments that may download and install malicious software onto your computer.

Do not click on any links, do not open any attachments and do not enter any personal information.

Dnister does not and will never request the disclosure of any personal security details such as your PIN, Internet Banking Passwords, Credit Card details or require you to click on links or attachments within the email to update or verify details.

If you receive a suspicious email please contact us immediately on
1300 363 041.

If you suspect that you have followed the instructions in a bogus email, it is possible that their internet banking details and Credit Card details may have been compromised. Dnister recommends to immediately change all online passwords, and to contact us immediately.
