Under the Financial Services Reform Act all financial services providers must hold a licence to continue to provide financial services to their customers or members. The Act is designed to have a single disclosure regime applying to all industries offering financial products or services. This can either relate to a simple savings product, a more complex superannuation product or a managed investment scheme.
