Marketing and Digital Assistant

Based in Essendon VIC | (12-month Maternity Leave or Casual Role with prospect of permanent placement)

This role provides great diversity in all Marketing, Digital and IT aspects, providing a challenging, exciting opportunity to an enthusiastic applicant keen to spread across many facets of the department’s deliverables. Reporting to the Marketing and ICT Executive, the successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the effective and efficient delivery of Marketing, Digital and Information Technology activities to ensure business objectives are achieved. You will be a team player and passionate about providing exceptional customer service in an achievement-based culture.

    • The successful candidate will be responsible for:
      • Contributing to the development and delivery of digital and marketing strategies to support the businesses’ internal and external communication and service channels.
      • Develop and implement campaign management and company communication plans in line with those strategies.
      • Contribute to the graphical, technical and copy of communication, internally, externally on multiple digital and non-digital platforms.
      • Contribute to the development, testing and implementation of new products and servicing channels supporting the procurement, retention and growth of membership.
      • Contribute to the development and delivery of an appropriate overarching brand culture that supports consistent messages across print and digital media.
      • Identify and recommend opportunities for the valuable and cost-effective investment of funds towards community development, including the sponsorship and community programs
      • Assisting with the development and implementation of new process improvement initiatives across the Co-operative.
      • Assisting where required with the provision of IT admin support to key stakeholders.

 

  • Essential skills include:
    • Excellent computer literacy skills, particularly across various IT and digital platforms and the ability to quickly grasp new platforms.
    • Well established interpersonal, organisational and time management skills.
    • Capability to achieve individual and business unit objectives.
    • Well-developed verbal & written communication skills with attention to detail.
    • Experience in Marketing and Sales and delivery channels.
    • Must hold a current Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Personal attributes critical to success in the role include:
    • Ability to work effectively on an independent basis and as part of a team.
    • Self-motivated with the capability to drive outcomes and support the development of an achievement-based culture.

POSITION: Marketing and Digital Assistant

LOCATION: Essendon

CLASSIFICATION: Level 1 / 2

REPORTS TO: Marketing & ICT Executive

Dnister Ukrainian Credit Co-operative Ltd (‘The Co-operative’) is a Member owned Authorised Deposit-taking Institution specialising in the financial services needs of its members and their communities.

Responsible for supporting the effective and efficient delivery of Marketing, Digital and ICT activities to ensure that business objectives are achieved.

    1. Contributing to the development and delivery of digital and marketing strategies to support the businesses’ internal and external communication and service channels.
    2. Develop and implement campaign management and company communication plans in line with those strategies.
    3. Contribute to the graphical, technical and copy of communication, internally, externally on multiple digital and non-digital platforms.
    4. Contribute to the development, testing and implementation of new products and servicing channels supporting the procurement, retention and growth of membership.
    5. Contribute to the development and delivery of an appropriate overarching brand culture that supports consistent messages across print and digital media.
    6. Identify and recommend opportunities for the valuable and cost-effective investment of funds towards community development, including the sponsorship and community programs
    7. Assisting with the development and implementation of new process improvement initiatives across the Co-operative.
    8. Assisting where required with the provision of IT admin support to key stakeholders
    9. Assisting with the development of a balanced sales and risk management culture across all areas of the Co-operative.
    10. Complying with the Co-operative’s Risk Management Framework through its Policies and procedures and ensuring that any compliance breach is notified to the Chief Risk Officer.
    11. Assisting with the achievement of targets for business growth objectives including product sales and Membership growth.
    12. Assisting with the achievement of targets for Member satisfaction.

As per relevant Policies and delegated authorities.

The successful achievement of performance of this position will be evaluated on the following basis:

  1. Achievement of individual and/or business unit/branch objectives.
  2. Effective application of core competencies and role-specific competencies.
The performance review of the incumbent in this position is to be at regular half yearly intervals. The remuneration of the incumbent will be reviewed at least annually in the month of August, or as near as possible.

To competently perform this position, the incumbent should possess the following skills, knowledge and experience:

Essential

  • Highly Desirable
  • 1.  Experience in managing data analytics, hardware platforms, enterprise software applications and outsourced applications within the financial services industry.
  • 2. Minimum of VCE or Year 12 equivalent
  • 3. Experience in similar industry or role.
