We announce to our members that we have reduced interest rates across our product suite.<\/p>\n

As an essential service that continues to provide banking to our members and the community, Dnister remains focused and committed to offering competitive products and services to meet the needs of our members.<\/p>\n

“Dnister is making changes to our interest rates in response to the Reserve Bank and market movements. In doing so, we have endeavoured to balance the different needs of members with loans and members with deposits..\u201d said Liam Tiernan, CEO, Dnister Ukrainian Credit Co-operative Ltd.<\/p>\n

We have again reduced our interest rates, this time by 0.20%, across our new and existing loans, effective 14th April 2020. This will provide savings to borrowers and will reduce their repayment obligations.\u00a0 Members can adjust their repayments in line with the reduction or alternatively maintain their current repayments to pay down their debt faster.<\/p>\n

Dnister is committed to maintaining competitive home loan and savings rates for members so that you may benefit from our competitive products and personalised member service delivery.\u00a0 Interest rates on Savings accounts will also be changing on 25th May 2020<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0and Term Deposits have also changed. Members can view the details on their statement or by visiting our website.<\/p>\n

We remind our members that\u00a0Australia has one of the strongest banking systems in the world. Our members can have confidence that all Australian banking institutions must meet the toughest regulatory standards, designed to protect them.<\/p>\n

As a Dnister member, you are protected under the Australian Government\u2019s Financial Claims Scheme, meaning your deposits are guaranteed to be repaid up to a limit of $250,000 for each account holder in the very unlikely event that Dnister faces stress.<\/p>\n
