Dnister held its 63rd <\/sup>Annual General Meeting on Sunday 6th<\/sup> November 2022 at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Hall in Essendon.\u00a0 The meeting was well-attended by Members and guests.\u00a0 Greetings from Ukrainian and Latvian Organisations and Community Groups were received acknowledging the support provided to them by Dnister. \u00a0We thank them for their ongoing support.<\/p>\n

The results of the main items of business were as follows:<\/p>\n

Resolution 1<\/strong> \u2013 Approval of Remuneration of Directors.
\nResolution 2<\/strong> \u2013 To confirm the appointment of Mr John Lipkiewicz as a Director of the Co-operative was carried.
\nResolution 3<\/strong> \u2013 To confirm the appointment of Mr Nicholas Bugryn as a Director of the Co-operative was carried.<\/p>\n

We congratulate John Lipkiewicz on his reappointment as Director and welcome newly appointed Director Nicholas Bugryn.<\/p>\n

The Board would like to thank those Members that attended the AGM and all Members for their ongoing support of the Co-operative.<\/p>\n

The Board also acknowledged and thanked its outgoing Directors, Wal Mykytenko and David Hassett. \u00a0Wal has been a Director since 2004, including 9 years as Chairman.\u00a0 David has been a Director since 2015, including 4 years as Chairman.<\/p>\n

On behalf of the Board, Management and Staff, we would like to sincerely thank Wal and David for their contribution to Dnister over the years and wish them all the very best for the future.<\/p>\n
