ADnister’s Annual General Meeting in Novemberwe proudly unveiled a new chapter for our organisation: a new name and refreshed identity as Dnister Bank. From Monday 16th Marchour new name and look will replace current branding for Dnister Ukrainian Credit Co-operative Ltd.

Our refreshed brand continues to honour Dnister’s Ukrainian and Latvian heritage, while positioning us for growth and sustained success. It reflects who we are today: a trusted, values-led, member-owned bank committed to helping our members and communities thrive.

While Dnister’s look will evolve, what matters most remains unchanged – our people, our service, and our dedication to every member. There will be no impact on member accounts oraccess and members do not need to do anything.

Below you’ll find further information about our brand transition.

When will the change happen and what will this look like?

From 16th March, you’ll start seeing the Dnister Bank name and refreshed branding across:

  • Our website, online banking and app

  • Member statements and communications

  • Emails and social media channels

  • In-branch materials

What does this mean for members?

There will be no impact on member accounts, access or services beyond a new look. Members don’t need to do anything and can continue banking with us exactly as you do today.

What’s staying the same?

  • Our member-owned structure and commitment to community.

  • Our people, service and personal approach.

  • Our values and connection to Ukrainian and Latvian communities.

  • Our dedication to helping members and our communities prosper.

  • Our legal entity name (Dnister Ukrainian Credit Co-operative Ltd trading as Dnister Bank).

While our look is evolving, who we are is not changing.

Cards and payments

There will be no changes to existing Visa Debit Cards, and members can continue using their current cards as normal. When your card expires, you’ll be issued a new Visa Debit Card in the new Dnister Bank branding, with the option to choose between a Ukrainian- or Latvian-inspired design.

If you have your Visa Debit Card saved in a digital wallet (such as Apple Pay or Google Pay), it will continue to work as normal and members do not need to take any action. In future, instructions will be provided if you would like to update your digital card to the new brand, but this is not a functional requirement.

Cheques and Cue Cards will not be rebranded and will be decommissioned in the near future – further information on this as well as alternatives to ensure a smooth transition will be communicatedin advance. Members can continue using their current cheques and Cue Cards in the meantime.

Why is Dnister making this change?

Dnister is evolving to better serve our current members and our communities for generations to come. This change helps us better explain who we are and what we do, while continuing to operate as the same trusted, member-owned organisation. It supports our ability to grow with purpose and serve with heart, continuing to invest in our communities for many more decades.

Hear more about why we’re introducing the Dnister Bank name and what this change represents for our organisation and our communities in this short video message from our CEO, Ashley Hood, shared at our AGM in November.

Looking ahead

For many of our members and community partners, Dnister has been part of your life for many years. Others may be new to Dnister but equally connected to our values and community spirit.
We’re proud of where we’ve come from and are excited about what lies ahead for Dnister Bank as we continue this journey together.
