Following the legal merger of Dnister with Latvian Australian Credit Co-operative Society Ltd (Latvian) effective 1 September 2016, Dnister held community functions in Strathfield NSW on 25 September 2016 and Mitcham Vic on 8 October 2016 to welcome the new Latvian members, outline the merger process moving forwards and provide an updated on Dnister’s current and future financial products and services. The meetings were well attended by members of both the Ukrainian and Latvian communities and were ideal opportunities for people to engage with representatives from Dnister’s Directors, management and staff.
“These functions were great opportunities for us to engage with our Ukrainian and Latvian Members and re-affirm our commitment to our Sydney and Mitcham presence”, said Dnister CEO Liam Tiernan. ‘’The merger provides us with additional branches in Strathfield NSW and Mitcham Vic. We have now commenced the integration of our people, computer systems, communications and products, which will enhance the offerings available to our Members and their communities. We have an expanding range of great products and services that are very competitively priced with our interest rates lower than the advertised rates of the major banks.
