| Details | The Association of Ukrainians in Victoria (AUV) is very excited to be staging their first UKRAINIAN FESTIVAL at Queen Victoria Market to celebrate UKRAINIAN INDEPENDENCE DAY & 70 YEARS OF UKRAINIAN SETTLEMENT IN AUSTRALIA. |
| What’s on | Come along for a family fun day at Queen Victoria Market and experience the colour and vibrancy of our Ukrainian culture and tasty food: * Ukrainian dance performances and choirs * All day concert program * Ukrainian food stalls: traditional varenyky, borsch (beetroot soup), holubtsi (cabbage rolls) and lots of sweets and cakes * Enjoy a drink at the themed Cossack bar – sample some Ukrainian vodka, Lvivs’ke beer, Aps cider * Take part in traditional Ukrainian Easter egg painting – pysanky and watch demonstrations and workshops about traditional arts and crafts *Ukrainian merchandise on sale – books, embroidered blouses, arts and crafts |
