All Dnister Visa Cards are issued in Australia
Members are advised sanctions announced yesterday by Visa/Mastercard will not impact members in Australia or Ukraine, except in the Russian Federation. Details on the sanctions announced by Visa and Mastercard are detailed below.
Visa Sanctions Update
Visa has announced that effective immediately, they are suspending their operations in Russia. Visa is working with their clients and partners in Russia to cease all Visa transactions in coming days.
Once this is completed:
• All transactions initiated with Visa cards issued in Russia will no longer work outside the country.
• Any Visa Cards issued by financial institutions outside of Russia will no longer work within the Russian Federation.
Mastercard Sanctions Update
Mastercard has announced that they are suspending their network services in Russia.
Once this is completed:
• Any Mastercards issued by Russian banks will no longer be supported by the Mastercard network.
• Any Mastercard issued outside of the country will not work at Russian merchants or ATMs.
