Details  

It is 25 years since a large group of Ukrainians from countries of the former Yugoslavia migrated to Australia as result of Balkan war. They arrived in a new country and started a new life in Australia. To celebrate this milestone an organizing committee was established, together with the Association of Ukrainians in Victoria, Geelong branch, that will organise a Ukrainian Festival at Kyiv Sport Centre.

Everyone is invited to take part in this celebration, not only to mark the 25th Anniversary of Ukrainian emigration from countries of the former Yugoslavia, but to reflect and
celebrate together this milestone as one family! We look forward to see you in Geelong on 20th and 21st October 2018.
Agenda  

Saturday 20th October 2018
• From 11AM – Sports and Family Day.
• There will be various activities for children such as jumping castle, playground, surprises…
• Competitions in football (soccer), volleyball and Bocce will be held.
• Foods and drinks will be available for purchase.
• Exhibition, Art and Craft
• From 7PM there will be a Dance party with live music from “Rodyna” ensemble. Tickets for the
Dance party must be ordered in advance.

Sunday 21st October
• At 9:30AM – Divine Liturgy at Protection of the Mother of God
church in Geelong (Cnr Banfield Street & Alder Cres. Bell Park)
• Banquet and concert at Kyiv Sport Centre
• After the concert – friendly gathering
Costs Tickets must be purchased for the Saturday night dance party and the Sunday concert.
